Compassion: Kids & Families

Welcome to Kingsway’s Children’s Ministry! We are continually finding ways to equip parents and encourage children to know and follow after Jesus in everything they do.

To maintain a safe environment we use an electronic check-in system that gives each child a name tag with a unique number code that matches a parent claim copy.

  Nursery

Our nursery is for infants up to 2 years old and is fully staffed with a highly qualified and loving team.

The room is equipped with a large, sanitized play area for your child along with rocking stations and changing stations as well as toys.

In addition to name tags, the nursery uses a pager system so that parents can be contacted immediately if a problem arises.
      Footsteps

Our Sunday morning preschool program is for children ages 2 to 5.

Every week we focus on one of three truths: God made me, God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

We provide a safe, fun, and highly engaging hour for your children where they can be kids and at the same time learn priceless lessons about Jesus.

We use a variety of creative and visual resources to keep things fresh and exciting for your children including: a bible story, creative crafts, fun videos, exciting music, hands-on activities, snacks, and prayer times as well.

Big Stuff

At Kingsway, families are important. We believe community worship can be one of the best times in a family's week.

Elementary students stay with their parents for the first part of service, joining with their family in singing praise songs and observing communion and offering.

Then students are released into smaller, grade specific groups. They learn to search the Bible and use Bible tools to find answers to their questions.

Family Bible Challenge

Consider participating in this summer's Family Bible Challenge.

Families read the book of 1 Peter either together or separately. As you read, write down simple questions like Who wrote this book? Where did this person go? Etc. Quiz each other using the questions you've written. Then in August your family will compete against other families who've been reading.

It promises to be a day of fun, laughs, competition and planting God's Word at the center of your family's summer.

Get your questions answered at a brief
Q & A immediately after church on June 6 or contact Amy Mortensen at 333-5659.
