PLAIN WHITE T-SHIRT ON MONDAY TO TIE DYE**
Step into the lab of Science VBS and take a journey with the original Apostles through the ups and downs of the first century church. Discover amazing truths from God’s Word about the early church and experience the Elements of T.R.U.S.T. This science-inspired, Christ-focused Vacation Bible School creatively walks through the historical narrative of the first 5 chapters of the book of Acts.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS WILL BE A MESSY VBS.
DRESS KIDS ACCORDINGLY.
Day #1 – Trust
Leading children to see their need for a Savior.
“And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Acts 2:21)
(MONDAY – All kids need to bring a plain white T-shirt on Monday to tie dye)
Day #2 – Receive
Leading children to see how prayer and repentance changes everything.
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” Acts 3:19
Day #3 – Understand
Teaching children to understand the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in our testimony.
“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
Day #4 – Share
Comparing and Contrasting a life that readily shares and a life that hordes God’s blessings and treasures.
“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.” Acts 4:32
Day #5 – Trials
Learn that the trials of our Christian lives are normal and used by God.
“Peter and the other apostles replied, ‘We must obey God rather than human beings.'” Acts 5:29
SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS
Kids do real science as real scientists. Projects include building hovercrafts, making rockets, constructing catapults, and more. Science VBS is high on Biblical Truth and filled with fun and engagement.
