At our core, we are a community committed to sharing the hope of Jesus with the world, one person at a time. For nearly 40 years, we've been serving West Omaha and beyond—building meaningful relationships, growing in faith, and living out the love of Christ in our everyday lives. Rooted in our values of Connect, Grow, Serve, and Multiply, we believe that personal connections and intentional discipleship are at the heart of true transformation.
Whether you're just curious about faith or looking for a place to belong, you're welcome here.
We exist to share the HOPE of JESUS with our world, one person at a time. We are so excited that you decided to check us out and we want you to know a few things before you come in the door!
Come as you are—whether you're in your Sunday’s best or your favorite sweatshirt, you’re welcome here. We want to be warm and welcoming, what matters most is that you are comfortable here.
You’ll find parking on the west side of the building. Look for reserved spots for newcomers just to the left as you enter, near the trees. We also have plenty of spaces for those with disabilities and for parents with nursery-aged children—whatever you need, we’ve got you covered!
You’re welcome to come in through either entrance—North by Pacific Street or the South side doors, whichever is closest. For families with kids in 5th grade or younger, our kids' check-in area is on the North side, but you can easily reach it from either entrance.
Whether you enter on the South side or by the kids' check-in on the North, our greeters will be there to help you find your way to the Worship Center, Kid’s Check-In, Coffee Bar, or wherever you need to go
Coming early isn’t required, but arriving about 10 minutes before the service gives you time to check in your kids, grab a donut and coffee, and get a warm welcome from our team!
Come in anyway! There is no judgement here and someone from our security team at either entrance will be there to help show you around to make your first visit comfortable.
YES! And donuts! Head to the back of our Worship Center for a selection of coffee, tea, donuts and other snacks.
Services start at 9am and 11am, typically they run about an hour and 15 minutes. This may change based on unique events, guest speakers, or special music.
Kids are always welcome in the Worship Center to sit with their family. We also offer a fun and engaging kids program for 5th grade and under each week at both services. There is also a 6th-8th grade Sunday School class at 9am on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. Check our Plan A Visit page to help us prepare for your kids.
Yes! We have a cozy, private room for nursing mothers or little ones who need a break, connected to our nursery. You're welcome to use it anytime you need.
Kingsway partners with several organizations across the Omaha area, including Open Door Mission, Empty Tomb, Food Bank for the Heartland, For God’s Children International (Camp of the Good Shepherd), Christian Student Fellowship at UNO, Deaf Missions, Immersion Spanish, and more.
Kingsway Christian Church is protected by a trained and organized security team, made up of both unarmed and armed personnel. Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for everyone who comes through our doors.
We are committed to living out the values of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives. We believe that is done through our 4 Core Values.
We believe faith starts with relationship—connecting with God through worship and with others through authentic community.
Spiritual growth is a lifelong journey. We pursue transformation by learning God’s Word, deepening our faith, and becoming more like Jesus.
We’re called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We serve others with love and humility—both in the church and in our community.
Disciples make disciples. We multiply by sharing the Gospel, raising up leaders, and expanding God’s Kingdom near and far.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Jesus’ commission to His followers – Matthew 28:18-20
There is one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is the creator and sustainer of the universe and everything in it.
Genesis 1; Psalm 90:2; John 1:1; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 John 4:13; Philippians 2:11; Revelation 1:8
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is one with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is our Savior, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross for all sin, and was raised from the grave after three days to show His defeat of sin and death. He ascended into Heaven and will one day return again.
Isaiah 53:5; Acts 4:12; Hebrews 13:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Matthew 1:22-23
The Holy Spirit is one with God the Father, and Jesus Christ. Those who accept Christ as their Savior, and are baptized, will receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is given to Christians and provides guidance in living, and understanding of the Bible, and prayerfully intercedes for them.
John 14:26; Romans 5:5; Romans 15:13; Acts 2:38
Our foundation is based upon the Bible as our one and only authority on Christian beliefs, and as a guide to living. The Bible is inspired by God, unchanging; without error; given to man so that we may know and understand the truth of God and His love. As a church body, we seek to follow the patterns of the church in the New Testament.
John 1:1; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 1:22
Salvation is not something that can be purchased or earned. It is a free gift from God provided by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross; God’s amazing grace. We respond to God’s offer of grace through believing in Jesus, confessing their belief in Jesus as their savior, repentance of sin, and baptism by immersion.
John 3:16; Romans 10:9; 2 Corinthians 7:10; Acts 22:16; Acts 2:36-41
Jesus Christ is building a community of people who are called out to seek the lost, save sinners, serve the needy and send out transformed people to live as Jesus lived. The local church is led by a group of spiritual leaders (elders) who equip the people to love God and love others with their Spirit-enabled gifts, until Jesus returns.
Matthew 16:16-18; 28:18-20; Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:1-16; 1 Timothy 3:1-8; 1 John 2:6; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21
