The Pray for Me Campaign
By inviting adults of all ages to pray for specific students, we’re building intergenerational connections rooted in God's Word, His people, and the power of prayer. Together, we’re helping young people grow in lasting faith—surrounded and supported by a church family that loves them.
Every Child, Student, Family Covered in Prayer for 1 Year
Families and students are invited to be prayed for, and adults of all ages can sign up as Prayer Champions—committing to a year of intentional, Scripture-based prayer for one student or family. Using a guided framework called the 7 Essentials, Prayer Champions ask God to help the next generation grow in lasting faith and flourish in every area of life. It’s a beautiful way to surround young people with love, encouragement, and spiritual support.
Why the 7 Essentials Matter
At the heart of the Pray for Me Campaign are the 7 Essentials—biblical themes that shape the way we pray for the next generation. These essentials—favor, wisdom, love, faith, purity, speech, and conduct—reflect the kind of life God calls His people to live, and they give us a meaningful framework for lifting up students and families in prayer.
As Prayer Champions pray through each of these areas, they’re asking God to form deep, lasting faith in the hearts of those they’re praying for—to guide their steps, grow their character, and help them live out their faith with courage and joy. The 7 Essentials help us pray with purpose, hope, and clarity, trusting that God is at work in every part of their lives.
Favor
Pray for the next generation to recognize God’s favor -His work -in their lives. Colossians 1:15-17
Wisdom
Pray that the next generation would have the wisdom to make godly decisions. Proverbs 1:4
Love
Pray that the next generation would be transformed by God’s love. Ephesians 3:18-19
Faith
Pray that the next generation would grow in faith. Hebrews 11:6
Purity
Pray that the next generation would have pure hearts. Matthew 5:8
Speech
Pray that the speech of the next generation would glorify God. 1 Timothy 4:12
Conduct
Pray that the next generation would walk in step with the Spirit. Galatians 5:25
